Belmont Street

My roommate is moving to New York so I’m looking for someone to take over her room starting January 1st (move-in date is flexible) ((with possibility to renew in September))! The apartment is located in Somerville about 8 minutes walking from the Porter red line stop and about 1 minute walking from an 87 and 83 bus stop. There is coin-op laundry on the first floor. The building has a roof deck with 24/7 access and views of the whole Boston skyline. There’s also a juliet balcony in the living room so lots of quick access to fresh air! The apartment also has 1 free parking spot where my car is currently parked, but there is plenty of resident street parking on the street as well. The open bedroom is $1200/mo - heat is included (crucial for the winter bills)! The only utility we pay is wifi which is about $20/mo per person.

You’ll be living with 2 people: Me! I’m 23 years old and working full time (3 days a week are from home) I graduated from Northeastern last year and enjoy playing video games (I have a wii, PS4 and switch that I’m happy to share hehe) as well as crocheting and cooking/baking! One of my fav things to do on weekends is drive up to Vermont or New Hampshire and explore there. Hugo who is moving in in December! He’s 24 years old and is planning to work at a cafe or bar nearby while applying to PT schools in the area. He likes baseball, fishing, pretty much anything active and outdoors. Hugo is my partner who will be staying with me until early next year (around Feb 2023) while he applies to schools before moving back to California. There are also 2 cats who are very well behaved. One is very friendly and will always be by your side and the other generally hides all day and becomes a sweetheart at night. Unfortunately they don’t do well with other animals so no additional pets can join the home :(
