2 story house, just a 5 minute drive from lake Ray Hubbard and just a few seconds from highway 30! (We live right off the highway.) George Bush tollway is also less than a 5 minute drive from our house and so is highway 635, so this is a very accessible location! Looking for a second tenant to rent a private bedroom and shared bathroom. Your main Bathroom will only be shared with 1 other female tenant. (We have our own bathroom in our room) And there is a 1/2 bathroom downstairs that is shared with everyone. House has 3 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 bathrooms, a 2 car garage, washer and dryer, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an island counter top, a dining area with a full sized dining table and 6 chair, a very large backyard and a living room equipped with a fireplace and vaulted ceilings. Tenants will have access to all of these shared spaces. House is all wood and wood tile on both floors. We have 2 Private bedrooms and a full bathroom for rent on the top floor as well as the 1/2 bathroom downstairs for guests and all members of the house. My boyfriend and I have owned the house for 4 years and we are the landlords. He does all of the maintenance and yard work and I handle our leases and screen our tenants. We are looking for a considerate, responsible and respectful tenant who can help us with our pets when we are out of town. We rent to females only so that everyone will be comfortable. And we only rent to 2 people at a time so that the house is never crowded.

First and foremost I want to mention that we do have a multi pet home! (No pets please. Unless they are tiny and can be confined, like hamsters or fish.) So this would only be an ideal situation for someone who loves animals! There are never more than 4 people total living in the house. We have a huge backyard so it never feels crowded because our 2 dogs spend a lot of time outside. Our 2 cats mainly stay indoors but are very quiet and low maintenance. Our master bedroom is also very big so the animals all spend a lot of time in there with us and are never in the way of our tenants. Ideally we are trying to find someone who can help us a bit with our pets when we’re out of town as we travel a lot for my boyfriend’s job. (Mainly taking the dogs out to the yard and making sure everyone has food and water when we’re gone.) My boyfriend and I have owned and lived in this house for almost 4 years. Over the last few years we have rented out rooms to various tenants, as well as friends and family members. We also rented out rooms on Airbnb a few times. Currently we offer 3 to 6 month leases. We are happy to extend the lease if all goes well. Rent is $600 a month for each room plus 1/4 of the utilities which are water, electricity, gas and Wi-Fi. The total usually comes out to around $700 a month per person with everything included. We are both in our late 20s. My boyfriend works for a home installation company where he installs smart devices in apartments (smart locks, smart lights, smart thermostats, ring doorbells.) I am currently looking for a new job and about to start classes to finish my associates degree. We are kind, courteous, and responsible and we just expect those same things in return. We respect everyone and we both absolutely love animals. We require a clean background check, proof of stable income and 3 references before signing any leases.
