About the room
The room is a private and spacious suite with its own dressing area, walk-in closet, and 3/4 bath. In addition to lamps and overhead lighting, the suite is well lit by multiple sound proofed windows equipped with blinds. The suite is fully furnished, with a bed, bed-side tables, a dresser, and chair. Multiple power outlets are available throughout the suite. The suite is cooled by an air conditioning unit mounted on the wall, and a ceiling fan.
The apartment is located on the second floor of a beautiful brick building overlooking Cheeseman Park. The apartment is 1,165 sqft with an open layout that is illuminated by multiple east-facing windows. Both the living-room and the dinning-room look out over Cheeseman Park, and get tons of natural light. The living-room also has a working fireplace. Direct access to the park is available from the front door. A secondary staircase leads from the kitchen out the back to a shady shared patio and off street parking. One parking spot is available for an additional $100 a month if required. Kitchen and baths have been recently updated. A newer washer and dryer are in-unit. Cooling is accomplished via two mini-splits, one of which is located in the suite.
The building is situated in the upscale Cheeseman Park Neighborhood. Its location is ideal for a short commute, being about a ten to fifteen minute drive (or a thirty-five to forty-five minute walk) from Downtown Denver and Cherry Creek. It is also within easy walking distance of a King Soopers, a Safeway, and an Ideal Market. A Whole Foods and two Trader Joes are only a short drive away. In addition to Cheesman Park, various attractions, including the Botanic Gardens, the 6th Avenue restaurant scene, and Likβs Ice Cream, are all within easy walking distance.
About the roomies
I am a 32 year old attorney living and working in Denver. I enjoy being social, but also value personal time. Good social chemistry is very important to me, and I hope to find someone with whom I have interests in common. For fun, in addition to various hobbies, I enjoy cooking, reading, board and card games, pilates, yoga, and going out to enjoy the attractions that Denver has to offer. I also ski, and try to get in a few days every year. I have lived with roommates before, both in undergrad and in law school, so I know how to respect shared space and share household responsibilities. Though not from Denver originally, I am pretty familiar with the city. I would be happy to act as a guide and share tips.
