Tina's room

Very quiet area, 2 acres. Gated driveway. I adopted 3 cats when I got here, and then a kitten found me, and a year later 3 more showed up. So wanted to mention the cats first, and possibly adopting a cat friendly dog. They go to the bathroom outside, and the robot vacuum cleans everyday. The room available is the larger bedroom. I’ve moved myself into the office/music room and have taken a liking to a Japanese style bed that I put away for the day. I’m in the process of putting in new baseboards throughout the house, and a new bathroom vanity, so feel like the house isn’t entirely ready cosmetically, but everything works, except needing to plumb in a new gas stove. Should all be done by the end of the year. I’ve been using the air fryer, bbq and side burner. Please note there is no more carpet (hence needing to do baseboards). You are free to paint the room anyway you like, and I can have an Ethernet cable added to your room. Garden is currently producing pineapples, bananas, guava, carrots, eggplant, tomato, purple sweet potatoes, avocados. There is a corner TV stand with electric fireplace and a king bed in the room currently. Was going to remove. The washer is a washer dryer combo. There is a TV and PS4 in livingroom.

Have been considering renting out my second room, but not entirely sure. I’m a quiet type, but not antisocial. I’m home full time, working on establishing a food forest and gardens. I was in the coast guard for 11 years, and was also a Tibetan Buddhist nun. I’m 38 years old. Have had a hard time meeting people since moving here right before Covid. I’m mostly vegan (bone broth for a gut issue), I’m an old soul, good at alone, no drama. 420 friendly (outside, unless vape). Love older 60s-80s rock. I mostly keep to myself but wouldn’t mind a roommate to share meals with or watch a movie or go for a hike or something. I am ethical, don’t push my views, but know who I am. I respect everyone, and expect the same. I’m easy going but not at all interested in people with self destructive behaviors and attitudes. My life is all about gratitude. The more grateful we are, the more beauty we see. I still practice meditation and mindfulness but my vows are in my heart now. I have a marine science/biology background, and worked with foster youth before Covid.
