A fully furnished private bed and bathroom available in a recently renovated classically Austin house with excellent natural lighting in quiet neighborhood. The bedroom, bathroom, and hall closet are all next to each other so you’ll almost have a whole wing to yourself (the office is on the same side which I only use during the day). It’s near superb food trucks, multiple grocery stores (including HMart!), and easy access to several of Austin’s main highways/streets. It’s within biking distance to the CapMetro lightrail that will take you straight to downtown. Includes monthly eco-friendly cleaning service, high-speed WiFi, a garden, and full sized washer and dryer in the garage.

Includes multiple sets of linens (two sets of sheets, two sets of bath towels, a quilt, and a comforter), a hallway storage closet, and shared access to the kitchen and living/dining room. Optional shared office space or I have a small vintage desk and desk chair that will fit into the bedroom easily.

Other miscellaneous amenities include ice-maker, outdoor drying rack (if you want to be eco-friendly), fireplace, and bi-weekly recycling pickup. I have the highest speed internet that Spectrum offers so streaming works very well. No pets please.

Looking for a roommate who is generally quiet (you can play music and stuff, just no parties etc please), clean, and a good communicator. Must be cool with cats.

I’m in my late-30s and work in higher education, quiet and generally keep to myself. I work from the office and from home. When I do work in the home office, I don’t listen to loud music or anything and very infrequently have Zoom meetings.

I have three chill black cats who are very people friendly (litter box is cleaned 2x a day). I’m allergic to cats so I regularly vacuum and dust to control dander, in addition to air purifiers in every room and a monthly cleaning service. I like cooking and baking, and am growing fresh veggies and herbs. I sew and crochet so you might find me working on something in the sewing room/office.
