Looking for a female roommate for a studio apartment from now until September 2023. Walking distance to downtown Grand Rapids and next door to a planet fitness. Newly renovated unit with loft concept. In unit washer/dryer, stainless steel appliances (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, sink). Attached garage parking is and additional $135/month, street parking is available. Renters insurance is required and is usually around $10/month for $100K protection.

$640 is the estimated cost with utilities (water, electric, gas, wifi) per month, this can vary depending on electric and water usage.

I am flexible with the setup of the studio apartment due its size and willing to make it work for the both of us if we both compromise.

Partially furnished, contains my bed, a work desk that two people can work on and no dining table is needed since there is a small nook.

Extra storage available if needed.

Recently the apartment complex reviews took a hit on Google but all honesty I haven’t had a single problem yet. The front staff respond very quickly to my requests and maintenance requests are completed withing 24 hours. I am also not facing the street, so things like the train, cars and trash collection trucks are never heard.

I am a graduate student at a research institute close by. Most of my weekdays I am at work (9 to 5 pm). On weekends I am usually down in southeastern Michigan. So I definitely will not be intruding on your privacy, which is always important in a studio apartment.

Being a roommate involves constant and respectful communication, so if we abide by this rule I don’t think there will be too many problems. I am open to sharing most of my kitchen items as long as they are taken care of properly after use. I also live on a pretty strict budget so if sharing makes both of our lives cheaper than I am all for it. Cleanliness is also important! But overall I will try not too invade your privacy and since I will be gone most days and the weekends I dont think that will be a problem.
