What I’m looking for in a roomie:
-
I’d love to find a roomie who is open to being friends and hanging out, bonus points if you like hiking and backpacking.
-
Empathetic and caring, respectful, emotionally mature, direct communication (face to face) if any issue were to arise. I believe a healthy house starts with respectful and clear communication about our expectations and preferences for our time living together.
-
Because of the nature of my job and how emotionally taxing it can be, I need a roommate who is emotionally mature/stable, respectful and compassionate towards others and generally laid back. I don’t care about mental illness as long as you are in active treatment and are stable - I have had to break a lease early because someone ignored this request. Please do not apply if you know that you have a history of severe behavioral episodes and/or violent outbursts/aggression towards others due to an untreated mental illness.
** I do like to keep shared areas clean but I’m not preoccupied with immaculate cleanliness. As long as you clean up after yourself there shouldn’t be an issue **
I’d love to hang out and go do something interactive for a day to see if we vibe well :)
About the roomies
At the moment it is just me! I enjoy backpacking, hiking, gardening, going to lil local concerts, and reading. I am an RN, and I specialize in spinal cord & brain injury rehabilitation. I have been living in atlanta for 5 years so I know the area real well :)
