This posting is for a LARGE upstairs bedroom in a recently refreshed 4 Bedroom/2 Bathroom home on a quiet, well-kept street.

Close to schools, Lawrence University, Fox Valley Tech, shopping, ThedaCare, Outagamie Hospital, Ascension St. Elizabeth’s. Looking for a SINGLE ADULT male or female housemate.

The house has four bedrooms and a den. There are three roommates already living here who all get along swimmingly. The culture in the house is friendly and gregarious.

We have easy-going game nights with cards, drinks, and snacks as often as possible.

We’re looking for someone who will fit in well with the general vibe of the house we already have. We want all the roommates to continue getting along and enjoy living here. We also want whoever moves in to be very happy here!

The den (with beverage fridge), kitchen, living room, dining area, laundry room, upstairs sitting area, balcony and backyard are all open for any of the roommates to use at any time (so long as it’s not too loud when people are trying to sleep).

The kitchen is stocked with more or less anything you might need: pots, pans, silverware, dishes, toaster, toaster oven, microwave, stove, oven, Keurig, slow cooker, etc. It also has a handy work station where you can prepare your food with plenty of elbow space. The kitchen has a pantry with space for everyone.

FREE Wifi is included with your rent and has so far had very reliable service. We’ve never noticed any problems with outages or speed.

All roomates help with maintaining cleanliness of home, including private space and all common areas. To make that easier, we have a robot vaccuum who will vaccuum your room for you and who also vaccuums the common areas regularly. His name is Tony Shark.

If you have a small to medium, non-shedding dog, there’s an extra security deposit and we’d also want to meet them to make sure they’re friendly. Other pets are NOT considered, nor are pets with scales or pets that swim.

Gas and electric utilities are NOT included in rent. Garage parking is available for an additional fee. Monthly rent is paid through Venmo or KeyCheck. Background check is required. There is a $500 security deposit.

For the safety of everyone who lives in the house, here’s how we do.

1. Live video walk-through of the room and the house.
2. If you like it, it seems like a good fit, and you want to move forward, we ask for a background check. The background check is done through KeyCheck. They charge $49, which gets paid directly to them on their website. We do NOT collect the fee OR see your SSN.
3. If everything looks good, we can do a final in-person meeting where you can walk through the house and meet the other roommates.
4. If all is still well and you want to move in, the security deposit holds the room for you until you’re ready to move in. First month’s rent is due at move-in. The Rental Agreement is signed when deposit is paid.

Awesome fun, friendly mix that is diverse in age, gender and race. Two of the roommates travel frequently, so the house is pretty quiet a fair amount of the time.
