Seeking non-smoker to rent second bedroom in Southeast Portland. This is for one person with no pet(s). Nice 2-bedroom apartment with a spacious shared bathroom, central location with street parking and close by transit; free laundry and storage in shared basement; small front porch and shared backyard; locked entry foyer/bike parking. The room for rent is unfurnished, about 110 square feet with large closet, two windows, and ceiling fan. Rent is $600/mo + 1/2 utilities (wifi + electric).

I am a woman in her mid 20s and the established primary resident of this apartment. The living room and common areas are already furnished. I enjoy video games and reading, and having discussions about such topics. I am an introvert who prefers to keep to myself but am open with people I am close to. For this reason it is important that you are not interested in socializing too much in the apartment, and would communicate about having company beforehand. Overnight guests are not in my comfort zone unless previously discussed.

-Are politically/socially liberal and fully vaccinated against covid -Can promptly communicate and answer direct questions with direct answers about the household -Are clean/tidy up after yourself and share in household chores -Like cats and can cat-sit my senior cat occasionally throughout the year when I’m out of town (about 3-4 weeks total per year). -Are in a stable position where you will be staying in the area and can agree to a 1-year lease -Are a reserved individual who does not have people over too often
