I need a roommate for 2 months (November & December), and have a clean private room to rent. It’s a beautiful ground-level apartment in a red brick house in Takoma Park near Takoma Academy. Available starting October 29.

Apartment details: responsive landlord with a history of quick maintenance, hardwood floors, dishwasher, coin-operated washer/dryer in basement, dining room, decorative fireplace in the living room, front yard and porch, 2-car driveway, and street parking

Location: 25 min from central DC and Rockville/Bethesda, 10 min from Takoma Metro Station, and within walking distance to the grocery and the best taco truck in Takoma Park. The neighborhood is pretty, quiet, and safe, and our neighbors are mostly families. There are several bike paths nearby.

I am a fully-vaccinated 28-year-old woman who is a student by day and a writer by night. I love ice skating, video games, and books. I’m respectful, tidy in common areas, and communicative— and it’d be great if you were too. I have one cat who is beautiful and calm and obsessed with squirrels. I am open to any level of roommate relationship, from ships passing to friendship.
