Allen's room

This is a great property in Hagerstown, only a few minutes from I70 and 81 either way. Walking distance from Sheetz, some restaurants and a wonderful little café.

The house altogether is recently renovated and in great shape. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom townhouse. Central AC/central gas heat, complete kitchen w/gas stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal. There is a decent sized backyard mostly fenced in, which I will be adding a patio to in spring of ’23. As well as an unfinished basement great for storage or shared workshop.

The bedroom is the bigger bedroom and located on the second floor towards the front of the house. This room gets great sunlight, windows already have nice blinds installed, and this room has its own closet. The full bathroom would be shared. I would request that we both do our part to keep it clean, as well as any of the shared space.

The only people living on the property would be myself and a future roommate (only two people total, sorry no couples) I, myself work full time and when I am home I enjoy relaxing, watching netflix, reading, DIY projects on the house, working in the yard/garden. I am a huge morning coffee person and I love cooking. As a roommate, I would enjoy being friends as well. So if you wanted to join me in cooking or watching a show you would be welcome. I keep the house pretty clean and would expect the same of a roommate. I also have a dog named Mable, she is a beautiful, majestic, friendly loving dog. You would not have to be responsible for caring for her unless you wish to.

The room wouldn’t be available until the date above due to wanting to host my family for the holidays. I am willing to post pictures or send/email them to you if interested. This room would begin with a 6 month lease and after that we could see how we want to move forward. I would require signing a lease contract, security deposit (available for return after exit review of room), proof of income and possible background check.
