About the room

We are looking for a third roommate to fill a spare room in our 3b/3b apartment in Marina del Rey. Our apartment is really spacious and the size of the spare room is also very big (bigger than most master bedrooms we have seen around LA, approximately 14’-4“ x 12’). We are located at a very prime location in Marina del Rey with a 3-min bike ride to the scenic Marina/Playa del Rey biking route/Beach. We are across a great business center with shops such as Ralph’s, Starbucks, Chipotle, Mendocino Farms, Sephora, Bank of America, and a lot more. Our apartment complex is very nicely equipped with luxury amenities such as a Pool and large deck, hot tub, outdoor patio BBQ, two 24hr Fitness centers with free fitness courses, gated garage; all managed professionally by the staff. Our apartment has upgraded hardwood-style flooring throughout, central air, stainless steel kitchen appliances, quartz countertops, in-unit washer and dryer, two large balconies and very spacious parking spot.

We are seeking for a very responsible young professional (no couple) to become our third roommate. Male or Female between the age of 25-30 preferred. You must be clean, easy to get along with, a good communicator, and employed full-time. You must also be a team player and help take good care of our apartment together w/ us by maintaining public spaces clean, taking out the trash when needed, helping with dishes, pay rent and utilities on time, and overall being a respectful person to your roommates.

As mentioned your room is larger on average than most bedrooms around LA w/ a nice walk-in-closet. The room is facing the adjacent building with a large window. Your private bathroom is across the hallway. The room comes unfurnished (we are only able to take photos w/ the furniture in for now).

ABOUT US:

You will be sharing the apartment with two young professionals 26 male and 27 female working full-time in the design industry. We are independent, social, calm, clean, private and very friendly. We typically don’t bring the party home, except for special occasions such as birthdays or other celebrations 1-2 times a year. We would like you to share the same values as us. We are very respectful of everyone’s space and privacy and are great communicators.

TO KNOW:

For bills, the listed rent does not include utilities which vary from month to month, but is typically very reasonable. The three of us will split water, gas, electricity, internet and other minor fees such as paper towels or other things we may share in public areas. There is also someone who comes regularly to clean the apartment/your room/bathroom and we split the fee. You will be signing onto our renewed lease with us and there is a $500 deposit that you will more than likely be returned at the end of the 1 year lease if you choose to leave. You must submit our apartment complex an application ($45 application fee) proof of employment/income, approved credit, and have a clean record.
