You will have the place almost to yourself as I travel extensively for work and am only home a few days per month. It’s a top floor/2nd floor, full floor Victorian flat with high ceilings, hardwood floors and lots of natural light. There is a large private deck perfect for chilling or growing a container garden. There’s a small garage for bikes, a motorcycle or whatever. Street parking is easy if you have a car. It’s an 8 minute walk to the West Oakland Bart station and about a 12 minute walk to Old Town Oakland. Directly off the kitchen is a laundry room with washer and drier included in the rent. Water and garbage is also included. You’d be responsible for paying half the wifi internet and PG&E bill. The common areas are furnished and the kitchen well equipped for cooking. The bedroom is medium sized 10x13.5 feet with a standard closet. The kitchen and bath are a little dated, nothing special but decent and functional. I’m open to considering a cat or other pet. I’m a mellow, professional guy, straight passing queer, who is rarely home, usually traveling for work or out with friends. The rare times I’m home I like to cook, take care of my plants, sleep or relax watching videos. Politically I’m moderate, I don’t smoke (tobacco or pot) and do drink occasionally. I’m moderately clean looking for someone who isn’t a ‘clean freak’ but cleans up after themselves and doesn’t clutter the home. No smoking or illegal drugs in the house, I’m have no issue with occasional pot smoking out on the deck. Looking for someone considerate, responsible, emotionally mature and gainfully employed.
