Housemate wanted! Room for rent in a recently renovated row home. Located in Hampden, the home has easy access to I-83 and is close to John Hopkins campus, Druid Hill Park, and The Avenue. Street parking only, though in the 2 + years I have been here finding a spot has never been a problem. You’ll have access to two full baths, kitchen, living room, three porches, and a yard directly attached to Wyman Park. The home has central heating/cooling, original hardwood flooring, gas appliances, and operable skylights.

The bedroom available faces the park and gets great natural light, a full closet with built in shelving, hardwood floors, and access to a rooftop garden. Plenty of room for a queen sized bed, desk, and dresser. See included images for a basic floor plan with overall dimensions.

Alternatively, I would be open to renting a finished portion of the basement. This includes a full bath complete with claw-foot tub, a large storage room that could easily double as closet space, and direct access to the back yard. This room is located between the lower level entry and laundry room so shared access through the space is needed. If that’s a deal-breaker, I’d be open to adding a wall and door to separate the space with an increase to rent.

A bit about myself: I am a 30-year-old architect with a blended work schedule, in the office 3-4 days a week and work from home the rest of the time. I have a dog, an Aussie named Augustus, love to cook, and do DIY projects (including some exciting yard work to come). I am happy to spend time socializing in the common areas, introduce you to all of the very friendly neighbors, and cook dinner together every now and then. I am also comfortable just coexisting as housemates if that is more your speed.
