About the room
I have a large room for rent with its own separate entrance from the side of the house. Itβs a unique room in that it used to be a breezeway that connected my main house to my guest house but then the previous owner converted it into a room. Itβs unique in that it has 5 doors. One of those doors leads directly into the kitchen, so whoever lives in this room would have to be okay with hearing noise coming from the kitchen at times. Also, the room shares a wall with my guest house and is not totally sound proof, whoever lives in this room would have to be okay with that and agree to keep noise down to a minimum. I have only have one bathroom and it is to be shared amongst a total of 3-4 people. You have to walk through the sunroom/kitchen in order to get to the bathroom. I live in a nice and quiet area of Arden Arcade and have a nice backyard with a lawn, a table, and a couch/lounge area with a fire pit. The room is generally unfurnished, but I do have a new queen sized mattress that I would prefer to keep in there. If someone would prefer to have it furnished, I could buy a desk for the room and a comforter set for the mattress. I would prefer to have someone who only wants to stay temporarily because Iβm not sure about how soundproof the room is.
About the roomies
Iβm 33 years old and work as a real estate agent and often work at home - I spend a lot of time in my room. I do enjoy working out, hiking, etc. in my free time. I rent out 2 of my other rooms for 30+ day stays, both to people from Air Bnb and traveling nurses on FurnishedFinder.com. Iβve been doing this for about 6 months now and itβs been going well so far. All of my guests have been considerate and quiet.
