Hey! I’m looking for a roommate to share my apartment with. Rent would be $650 a month and I’m happy to include utilities (electric, gas, water & internet) if you are open to helping me out every now and then with my dogs. The apartment is a great spot overall, located just over the river in North KC. Right up the road from the new KC Current stadium. You will have your own good sized room with a private bathroom & shower attached as well as a walk-in closet. The room has nice natural light, a ceiling fan, carpet, and comes with a full size bed. Your room also has direct access to a peaceful outdoor patio that makes you feel like you are alone in the woods.

What I am looking for in a roommate… First & foremost a dog lover! I have two friendly 11-year-old doggos so someone who is happy to live with dogs is the most important thing. Secondly, I’m looking for someone chill as I am very laid back. I’m not a clean freak but I like to keep the place tidy and put together.

The right fit… No kids. No couples. No animals. Dear god, no trump supporters. I’m super progressive and being a like minded individual is key. Must be Pro-choice, Pro-LGBT, Pro-BLM, Anti-Racist, & Anti-Anti-Fox News. I’m over talking about politics but I don’t want to live with a dumbass. If you smoke that’s cool as long as you do it outside. But no stoners. I don’t want my place to smell like pot.

About me… I love to make friends. I’m passionate about sports, being active, and being a good person. When there’s a car accident, I’m the one that always pulls over and checks on the people involved and calls 911. When I’m not working or hanging with my dogs, I’m either working out or adventuring around the city. I love hanging out at coffee shops or going to a game. My days of “going out” are long gone but I’ll have a late night every blue moon. Most days I’m at work by 7:30 and in bed by 9:00.

I was a D1 soccer player and then a college soccer coach for many years. Now I work in solar energy. I like to travel, hangout with friends, and experience new things. Sports, art, music, & movies- I like it all. I’m a great conversationalist and friend if I do say so myself. But I am as low maintenance as they come and not materialistic at all!
