We have an opening in our apartment near Union Square and are looking for a new roommate (This would be for a lease ending August 31st 2024)! -rent for the room is $875 -has a closet -it is close to the union square green line stop (easy access to downtown Boston 20 to 30 min) -a living room -2 great bathrooms -in unit laundry -basement with kitchenette and workspace -a nice kitchen with a gas stovetop and granite countertops. -ac units installed in each room. -awesome location close to Union Square (Bow Market, Backbar, Brooklyn Boulders, Vera’s, the Independent, Union tavern, Highland Kitchen, Urban Axes, Remnant Brewery, Aeronaut Brewery, Winter Hill Brewing and much more, frequent community events nearby too, and a farmer’s market), about a mile from both Davis Square and Porter Square, and 1.5 miles from Central Square and Harvard Square. -street parking is only $50 a year in Somerville if you have a car (getting a parking permit may be a hassle depending on your situation) -furnished common areas

I’m a 28 year old male software engineer. I work remotely, so I’ll probably be in the apartment a lot during the week. I’m a relatively active person, I run most days and also go to the gym. I do some of cooking (I’ve been making sourdough bread and pasta!), though before you get your hopes up I’m not a chef or anything. I generally go out on the weekend to bars or concerts. Also, I like a good craft brew, I’ve been to all the breweries in the Boston area! I play a little guitar, and read a little. I like playing all sorts of racquet sports, and want to get back into fencing. I occasionally play video games and board games, and enjoy travelling. I’m generally up for trying new things.

We also have a 22 year old female policy analyst from Australia! She is super chill and respectful. She loves to make music, cook and share food with the whole house, and watch trashy reality TV with friends.

Finally we have a mid twenties female from Tennessee with a orange cat!
