2 room, private, fully finished daylight basement “suite” about 400sqft in my single family home I purchased last year. (The suite is 2 rooms, the image with the bed, and the image with the rocking chair/brick fireplace. Yes! Two rooms! Just for you!) Can be furnished with queen bed and frame. Location is Eastmoreland area. You would have the two room suite in the basement to yourself, and I have the two bedrooms upstairs. We would share the single bathroom (on the main floor) and kitchen. It will be a nice balance of having a communal living space and having private area to ourselves. The suite is cute but pretty basic, so if you are someone who loves to make your living space your own, this space will have lots of potential! I’m open to letting you paint or make some other changes (within reason, and with approval). The “living room” has a brick fireplace and classic wood paneling on half of the walls. The bedroom has simple white wall panels. The floors are concrete but I can leave at least one large rug down there for you. Both rooms have windows, and the bedroom has a legal basement egress window that’s up to code. I have a queen mattress and frame that I can let you use if needed, but other furnishings would not be provided. The whole house is fully heated and cooled with a brand new heat pump! High speed, 940mbps fiber internet. I have a fenced back yard that currently has limited landscaping, so if you love to garden, I’m happy to let you have some fun! My neighborhood is super friendly and quiet, and feels very safe. I will often walk my dog at night and feel perfectly safe in the area.

I am the home owner and I live in the house with my dog. My name is Whitney, I’m a 28 year old professional female, and I work in Marketing for an Architecture firm (I work from home most of the time). I’m looking to find another person (preferably female) who is in a similar life stage and that we’ll be friendly and vibe well sharing the home together. I’m an independent laid back person who likes to take comfort in my home being my safe space to be my most authentic self, so I’m hoping to find another roommate that is a comfortable fit again. I love the outdoors and hiking with my dog. I also really enjoy cooking, movie nights, vintage/flea markets, D&D and board games. I try to keep my space clean and definitely benefit from another person who shares an interest in keeping a house clean and tidy. I value open conversation, with respect and understanding of figuring out solutions that work for both people, and being able to hold each other accountable to the standards we agree on. My dog Rey is a female husky rescue and almost 6 years old. She’s very friendly and loves playing with other dogs, but I’m probably not looking to have any other pets in the home. I’d be a little wary to have any cats, as she is far too interested in them and has a high prey drive. We can set up a baby/pet gate at the top of the stair to keep my dog from going into the shared basement area.
