Paula's room

I live in a four bedroom townhouse, off of Ballenger Creek. The space I am looking to rent, is a private entrance basement, with a brick patio. The space is fully furnished, and includes a living room, large screen TV, a pool table, a small desk area, granite studio kitchen with a small refrigerator, microwave, convection oven and small sink, a powder room and a bedroom with a twin trundle bed and TV.

The main kitchen is on the 2nd floor as is a deck overlooking the spacious dog park we back up to. The private full bath is on the 3rd floor, as is the shared laundry room.

You would have a dedicated parking spot, with ample additional street parking. We are walking distance to Ballenger Creek Park. Also, we have a community pool in the summertime and a year-round fitness room (albeit rather small), with a locker room and showers.

The rent includes utilities, which are water, sewer, electricity, gas heat, recycling pick up, trash removal, snow removal, community HOA fees, overall lawn maintenance (with the exception of the patio and flower beds, for which we are responsible) and unlimited high speed internet access.

A little about me, I am 55 but act like I am 35. I am a serial entrepreneur currently working in cancer research. Currently I work and do my research mostly from home, I will be taking office space in the coming weeks. I have three cats, so to keep the peace, I’d prefer no additional pets. I am looking for a tidy, mature, responsible roommate, who will not only keep their private space clean, but, help with the outside weeding. I do not have a green thumb, lol. I will respect your privacy, but, welcome a conversant, friendly roommate.

There are no other roommates, I live alone. My daughter is 18, and is on a traveling equestrian team, so I rarely get to see her as she pursues her passion and career. So, it’s just me and the three cats. Pre-Covid, I would travel extensively, and am hopeful the tenant can pitch in and take care of the home and my cats, while I am out of town.
