Room is large enough to have two bedroom setups comfortably, my bed is window-side with a nightstand and vanity, my current roommate has a loft bed on her side of room with an meditation space underneath to maximize space (high ceilings) and linens around bed to offer privacy, although partitions of some kind can easily be used. There are two closets, so you have your own walk-in on your side, and also a private entry door to your side (two doors to bedroom) The second photo is your side of the room with your entry door and closets (I took down the curtains for the picture) I have lived with three roommates with this set up over the past 4 years and its worked out very well. I respect space and don’t mind sleeping in the living room or visa versa if company is over for the night. About the apartment, NE facing, tons of sunlight, 10th floor corner with bay windows and slight view of the ocean, on a clear day you see the Hollywood sign, views of the CSLB pyramid, and even fireworks from Disneyland. Beautiful huge communal beach patio with cabana, fire pit, bbqs, and plenty of views and seating. Fully furnished except for your space in bedroom (aside from the loft bed frame and a large dresser inside your closet), so you can create your own personal nook. As for common area, I have lots of plants, state of the art stove (if you’re into cooking), fully furnished. I understand the rent may seem high for a shared room, but units in my building in the same stack are renting for well over 3000, if available at all. Rent includes all utilities including WiFi, gas, electric, trash, water. Street parking only, I know LB parking is atrocious, I got rid of my car years ago because of this. Female preferred, but open. Space is beautiful but vintage, so there are some minor cosmetic flaws, like some floorboards are lifted or stained, some peeling paint in the bathtub, a few window cracks from storms or unfortunate bird mishaps, so please appreciate historic and lived-in features. A little about me, I’m a 38 yo female with a design background, specifically apparel design, also worked in the LB restaurant scene for nearly 20 years. Chill and laid back, know the difference between personal time and shared good times while living in the same space, 420 friendly, no hard drugs as I will NOT tolerate. I’m clean, pay bills on time, cook a lot, contribute to shared household items, ya know, normal shit! I have a dog and cat, my cats a brat but chooses when to be sweet, my dog in a crazy totally lovable sweetheart, both pictured. I’m gone a lot at my families house in LB, for consecutive days and sometimes weeks at a time, so hoping someone can feed kitty when I’m away, but I take my dog with me anytime I’m away aside from work. As of now, I am an evening caretaker, as well as remote freelance design project management. I’m single and I don’t have guests over too often as of late, but that’s just me and don’t mind if you’re dating or have friends over! I try to stay hi vibe and hate drama, can get pretty “woowoo”, but never too serious. I’ve lived with many roommates in my past, and also alone for 7 years prior to covid, but don’t want to work to live and also want the ability to go out of town when I need to, so I’m willing to share my space with the right person.
