Two bedroom first floor apartment located in a three-unit building just outside of downtown. The apartment includes a living room, 1 bathroom with clawfoot tub, and kitchen. Small patio area in the back which is private to the unit too.

Rent for listed bedroom is $700 a month without utilities. Current lease is listed until August 1st, 2023 with possibility to renew. Cold water is the only utility included. Utilities covered by myself and roommate, would be spilt 50/50, and those include Heat/Hot water (which increases between December to March due to running the heat during winter - I typically run the heat on the colder side ~63-68 degrees), internet, and electricity.

The rent and utilities breakdown is this:

• Rent is $1500 a month, so split is $750 I choose to pay $800 and other bedroom is $700.
• Cold water is the only utility included
• Electric is through CMP and that averages out to $70 a month in total, split is $35 each
• Internet is through RedZone Wireless, averages to $70 a month, split is $35 each
• Heat/HW for April-November is about $40, split is $20
• Heat/HW jumps up in winter, about $200 a month, split is $100

So the math breaks down like this: $700 (rent)+$35 (elect.)+$35 (int.)=$770 :: $770+$100(winter heat/hw)= $870/month :: $820+$20 (rest of year heat/hw)= $790/month

The unit definitely has a fair amount of character to it. Lots of built-in wood shelves, (living room, kitchen, and bedroom) stained glass accents, glass pane doors on closets and rooms. Hardwood floors with carpet in both bedrooms. Unique paint accents here and there, but for the most part it is pretty minimal. There are simple button-style locks on both bedrooms and bathroom doors for safety too.

The apartment may be a bit small but can be really cute. Fairly busy neighborhood, just outside of Old Port/downtown, with plenty of foot traffic but quiets right down. There is on-street parking that is generally available, or could obtain a parking sticker via the town hall for easier parking.

I am a 32 y/o male and work full-time at a local university in healthcare education. Currently single with no pets.

Some of my hobbies include music (listening and creating), skateboarding, bicycle riding, working out, meditation, art, museum visits, watching movies, occasional board games, reading, and cooking. Plants, lighting, and generally keeping a calm space is important to me. I am a bit of a homebody but I do try to go outside often and I do like to go out to concerts, restaurants, and bars relatively often.

I am looking for a roommate with generally similar interests or values, being friendly/cordial is of course a big plus. I am down to work out a cleaning schedule, share a meal together, and create a friendly and respectful environment between us! I am into having a friendly relationship with potential roommate, but I also respect privacy and having some separation is cool too.
