Renting out the master bedroom in a 2B2B. I’ve been living here for over a year so the lease is month to month now.

The place is called Aspens South Coast. It’s a rare find, you’ll know why if you check out the property’s pictures on google maps - they spent 40 years curating the landscape. My fav thing to do is to sit on the lush green balcony to begin my morning with a good cup of tea.

The apt complex sits in the heart of South Coast Metro, u can walk to South Coast Plaza and all the stores and restaurants. I’ll help you get familiar with the surroundings. The complex itself has two luxurious clubhouses, multiple swimming pools and jacuzzis, and 3 tennis courts. We have a bbq rack right downstairs. It’s not used too much though, this place is very quiet. My most often visitors are squirrels and hummingbirds. In the springtime, there are also a lot of ducks visiting all the little creeks.

I have furniture in the common area (Italian genuine leather sofa, velvet ottoman, bar stools, dining table chair set, outdoor table chair set, a projector and a huge projector screen - I don’t really watch TV but don’t mind ur bringing one. I also have a tennis ball machine you can also use if you like tennis like me); and I have some spare furniture for your room if you need them (floor lamp, chairs, mirror, standing workstation, a mini-fridge etc.). Since I’ve been living here for a while, I also have cooking utensils, carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaner etc. Therefore, you may have found that the less furniture you have, the best, because we don’t have to worry about where to stow away things.

I’m not a clean freak but I definitely prefer and appreciate a clean and organized living environment. I also don’t smoke (cigarette or weed) and hope you don’t as well. No alcoholics either, please. Social drinker - welcome. This place is very quiet, I have yet to hear loud music and parties especially late at night. It’s more of a hideaway in the city to retreat into your inner self.

The price for the apt that I got when I moved in was a bit cheaper than now, so we can both save some here. Considering the space, convenience, and privacy, I’m pricing your room at $1600 a month. We can split the utilities (water, gas, electricity, sewage, around $200 in total), and I got the internet part. If you have pets, you’ll also be responsible for the additional charge from the property mngt.

I’m a data professional working in Newport Beach with a stable job and income, and I hope you have a stable job as well. I work remotely with occasional office days so I stay at home a lot.

In my free time, I love going to a concert at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, playing tennis, skiing, snorkeling, and traveling around. Some of my fav places are Hawaii, Banff (for skiing), New Orleans, and a lot of cool places in China where I’m originally from.
