Deven's room

This rental is for a large bedroom with a walk-in closet and gas fireplace. It comes with a private bathroom with a shower/bath combo. Common areas include a shared laundry room, sitting room, large kitchen, living room, and dining room. The home features three bedrooms and an office sitting room. It’s a single-story house rambler with mature landscaping. There will be four tenants on the property (including myself), with one living in a detached unit.

For those with a green thumb, we have a raised garden that can be used to grow vegetables and other plants. There is also a patio with a barbecue that can be used to entertain friends. Parking is easy, with plenty of spaces on the street. The location of the home is within ½ mile walking distance from two bus routes with connections to downtown. The house also rests near a connection to the interurban trail.

Utilities will be split evenly in four ways including electricity, natural gas, fiber optic internet, water, sewer and garbage. The utilities will add up to around $125 per month. There will be an additional fee that will be adjusted monthly to accommodate the purchase of any household necessities (trash bags, household cleaners, toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, etc).

The payments will be processed through Zelle or PayPal. The room requires a one-year lease, first and last Month’s rent, and a security deposit of $500. The last month’s rent can be split into two consecutive monthly installments.

I am a woman in my late 20’s working in healthcare. I enjoy listening to podcasts and doing art in my free time. I live with my brother, who is staying in another building on the property. He will also be utilizing the common areas (ie, laundry, living room, kitchen). I am looking for two other mature women to share my house with. I would prefer to have someone who is at least in their mid-twenties, but I am open to renting to a younger woman if she exhibits maturity and professionalism. I am interested in finding someone who is easygoing, reliable, and respectful of house rules (ie. follows quiet times, picks up after themself, cleans their dishes, etc). Unfortunately, we are not renting to anyone with pets. The house is drug-free, including marijuana (Edible use is ok).
