About the room
This is an intentionally curated space/community situation, that thrives best with people who get along well, have shared or complementary interests around home space, communicate well, and engage in both projects and down time together.
We are three adults and a kid in a house with a shop/garage on half an acre, with goats (for snuggles, milk/cheese, and potentially meat), chickens (for eggs and sometimes meat), and garden. Have two large dogs and two cats here already, additional pets could be considered, especially if they are small/caged. One roommate lives in a mostly self-contained βcottageβ in the backyard (not quite ADU), the two parents and kiddo are in the house itself.
The room is furthest from common space and decently quiet/private. Currently furnished, open to conversation if the right person already has all the furniture they need. Happy to talk about painting before move in. Available soon, flexible move-in date for the right person.
About the roomies
We are: C (they/he), 34, transitioning to a work-from-home public health nurse position in a few weeks. E (he/they), 35, working in a high school and very much public-facing. J (he/him), 38, works as a nurse at a local hospital. T (she/her for now), 3 1/2, attends a small preschool 4 days/week. All of that said, we are very covid-conscious and aim to make choices that feel as safe as possible for the most concerned members of our bubble at any given time. We share dinner at least once/week, collaborate on garden and land projects, and enjoy spending time together over games, walks, critters, and casually around the house.
