South Locust Street

The house itself is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, a newly renovated kitchen, a carport and driveway for parking as well as plenty of street parking available for yourself and/or friends who visit, has a private, spacious, fenced-in backyard with a covered patio that is great for entertaining as well as a garden area. The main areas are currently furnished, but that can be changed if you have your own furniture. You would only need to be responsible for furnishing your bedroom. The bedrooms for rent share a jack-and-jill style bathroom (each room has its own individual sink/vanity in the bedroom, but they each have a door to a shared toilet and shower area). Utilities will be split evenly by all tenants.

The house is located in Virginia Village, which is close to Glendale, the Cherry Creek shopping center, 1.5 miles away from the I-25 onramp and Colorado Light Rail Station (easy to get downtown), 2.5 miles from DU, and a very short drive from Wash Park. It’s just a few blocks from the Cherry Creek trail and there are plenty of parks within walking distance (Cook Park, Garland Park, Ash Grove Park). The neighborhood is very family-oriented, with a mix of singles, younger couples, and older couples. It’s a very safe area, we’ve lived here for 7 years and have never had any issues.

I (the owner) unfortunately had to move to another state for a job. My partner (33m) will be living in the house for the immediate future until he is able to move with me. My partner is a teacher and has a dog. The other roommate is a vet tech and has a cat. Looking for other professional adults or graduate students to fill the other room, prefer to have no other animals in the house.
