Oak Knoll Street

I have a large bedroom for rent in a very large house in Echo Hill, a neighborhood surrounded by beautiful mature trees. It is a very quiet house and peaceful neighborhood, with a private pond and walking trails behind the house. The house is a cape cod with 3 bedrooms upstairs that share a bathroom, and there’s also a half bath downstairs that can be used by upstairs tenants. The rooms have a microwave, mini-fridge, and I could also supply a small instant-pot or rice cooker. The tenants have minimum access to the downstairs kitchen (weekends and Wednesdays) to minimize COVID exposure to my elderly parents.

I live downstairs in the main floor of the house and my parents will be living with me in a couple of weeks. I’m an artist and faculty member of a low-residency graduate arts program, so mostly work from my home office when I’m not away for the week-long residencies. My parents are retired scientists. Tenants are graduate students, professors or professionals residing temporarily in Amherst for less than a year.
