Emerson Street

I rent 15 private furnished bedrooms in E. Norwalk with flexible lease terms. They are all furnished, lockable, and are for 1 person only. Many of them are in a duplex house on Emerson Street. You can pay rent weekly or monthly. There’s a 2-week minimum stay.

All kitchens/bathrooms are shared with between 1 and 3 other people, depending on the room. Prices are $900 to $1150 per month depending on the room. Included: fast wifi, paper goods, furniture, kitchenware, cleaning products, sheets, pillows, blanket, towel, outdoor gas grill, and professional cleaning of common areas.

Step 1: tell me when u want a room: start + end dates are needed. Approximate is ok. Step 2: I’ll send u videos of all rooms / apartments that are available for your dates. Step 3: You can see any available room in person, but only after seeing a video + having a quick phone call with me. I try to minimize the # of people walking thru the apt so that people living there can enjoy a peaceful home. Step 4: sign a lease, send a security deposit. I can only do this if we have met by phone, video, or in person first. I don’t take money without one of these live meetings for security reasons.

There is no work from home unless approved in writing beforehand. Some rooms have a shared kitchenette (no stove) and others have a shared full kitchen. You are expected to clean up after yourself while you live here and when you move out. There are no automatic cleaning fees.

The household is not 420-friendly, even for medical cannabis. The reason is that it gives off a pungent smell that impact others who live here in various ways. Also, there’s no smoke, vape, weapons, or hate in the house or on the property.

Bus stop is 2 blocks away. East Norwalk train station (goes to NYC and Boston) 8-minute walk. Walk to beach 15-minutes, nightlife 20-mins, coffee, ice cream, small gym, diner, restaurants 10 minutes. One-half to one-full month security deposit is required, depending on the details of the booking. You get the deposit back when you move out according to the lease.

Everyone here works a professional job out of the house. Careers they have: finance, hedge fund, tennis pro, military, shipping industry, engineer, medical doctor, etc. Guys live here most of the time, but this household is for both males and females. The owner (me) doesn’t live here but I’m there every day. Age range = 25 to 60 (mostly younger.) People who live here are working, traveling and super quiet. A nice conversation with someone in the kitchen while making coffee is typical, but it’s also normal to live here for a couple weeks and not see anyone else. It’s a quiet household and people who live here appreciate that.
