Colorado Street Northeast

We live in a 3-bedroom (+spare guest room)/ 2-bathroom home near Candelaria and San Pedro. One full room (with closet) will be available toward the end of August, and you will have a mostly-private bathroom (my partner and I have an en suite bathroom in our room, so you will really only be sharing if there are guests over.) The house has ample parking, and a garage used for extra storage space. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer, and the kitchen is relatively spacious. There is also a dining room, a back living room, a front living room space (where a new roomie could put a desk or couch), and a gated backyard with a shed.

H is a 28 yo woman currently in school for her psych PhD. S is a 33 yo man who works in insurance from home in one of the bedrooms (home office). We have 2 dogs, a 5yo male and 4yo female pitbull. They are very friendly with people (big snugglers), and usually other dogs. No cats due to allergies.

We are 420 friendly, and pretty easy-going. We don’t often have people over (introverts), but are happy to give a heads up when we do! S has a young son who visits a couple times a year for a few days at a time. You are welcome to have guests over as well, though we are hoping for someone who also prefers to be social outside of the house.

We like to keep the house pretty tidy, with occasional vacuuming, dusting, no dishes in the sink for longer than 12 hours, stuff like that. We would love a roommate that happily picks up after themselves– the type of person who sees a full trash can and goes to empty it just because they like living in a clean space too! We are also fans of open communication– if we do something that annoys you, we would love to just talk about it before it becomes and issue (and hope you do the same!)

Overall, we would love another down to earth person who is relatively tidy, likes dogs, and is also somewhat introverted. Hopefully we can even develop a roomie friendship :)
