About the room

Hi! My name is Brooke, and I’m 33. I am looking for a female roommate to share my 2 bedroom apartment with me at Warner Center in Woodland Hills. I have lived in this apartment for the past 10 years, and have been very grateful for the rent control. Rent price is a fixed $1100 per month, and cable/internet, utilities, and other household bills are approximately $200 per month per person (will be charged separately as it does vary month to month). The apartment includes: central AC, patio, plus onsite gym, pool, jacuzzi, bbq, laundry, maintenance, amazon lockers; you would have your own private unfurnished room, private bathroom, and parking spot (tandem). Apartment is 1037 square feet, room is 12x10. Communal spaces are furnished. I just redid the floors too, so they are new! Last month’s rent is due at beginning of the term in addition to security deposit. Income verification/background check will be required. Photos will be provided after speaking with me.

About the roomies

Over the past 10 years, I have typically had long-term roommates (although it’s not required, it just happens to work out that way). My current roommate has lived here for the last 7 years and plans to move out at the end of May. I think roommate compatibility is super important, and I am thoughtful in having someone live here who is similar to myself in terms of values, stage of life, and energy. I am a pretty laid-back person, and enjoy downtime, relaxation, TV shows, football Sundays, and exercise. I am looking for someone who is stable, reliable, and easy-going, and is good with open communication. I should also mention I do work from home a few days of the week, so needing someone who can be flexible with that. I do prefer having degrees of boundaries in a living situation; meaning you have your life, I have mine, and we get to enjoy time together while we’re at home. I’m definitely up for movies, hikes, and some good old girl talks from time to time (if you’re interested). I usually spend time with friends outside of the apartment. I think a home should support peacefulness and safety, and would like to find someone who can emulate that.

Let me know if I can answer any questions about the apartment!
