About the room

Looking to share my 2-story VEGETARIAN (Pescatarian OK) condo with a clean, respectful and considerate housemate who likes cats. You will have a private full bath adjacent to your upstairs corner room. The unfurnished room will fit a full/queen size bed but could be a tight squeeze for a king bed. Has full closet and hardwood floor. Shared living room, kitchen and dining room space. You will have use of in-home washer/dryer and all appliances. I appreciate conservation efforts, so with that in mind, rent includes HOA fees, gas & electric, water/sewer and wireless internet. No cable in home, but I have a streaming service you may use. Shared storage available in my attic. Easy and free off-street parking that is close by and plentiful. ** NOTE: Closest transit stop is 1.5 miles from home uphill in both directions. You will likely want to own a car. ** Our delightful South Park neighborhood has central access to the 805, 8, 5/163 and 94 freeways. $25 Background check and basic renters insurance required. First month’s rent due at move-in + a security deposit equivalent to the last month’s rent that may be made in installments. Willing to consider month-to-month or short term lease (e.g., if you are a contract employee, traveling nurse, student, etc.) I love to cook (and share meals), so my kitchen is kept very clean and is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils needed to prepare a gourmet meal and extensive baking. Would prefer minimal additions to the kitchen supplies, but I can make room for your favorites :)

About the roomies

I have two friendly, indoor-only older cats and on rare occasions entertain friends/family at home with small dinners and game nights that you are welcome to join. Prefer a housemate who isn’t into partying, non smoker, heavy drinking, drugs, vaping or cannabis smoking. Prefer no overnight guests or strangers in my home, and no couples tenants. I work from home (with occasional days out) in my own studio/office space upstairs. My schedule varies, but I am usually a (quiet) night owl not bothered by early risers around me. Must be COVID vaccinated and willing to keep up-to-date on that. (I will require proof of current vaccinations.)
