Edgewater apartment, walking distance from Thorndale and Bryn Mawr red line stops. There’s a great deli called JB’s on north Clark street a mile walk from the place. Highly recommend if you like Jewish delis. 👌 Edgewater is very close to Loyola university if you’re a student, and a few stops from Depual university in Lincoln park. Half a mile walk to Kathy Osterman beach-lots of good places to eat and cool places to be and see etc. Anyways-the apartment is newly renovated, new floors, fresh paint, and very clean. The closet is sizable and walk-in, and utilities are already included in rent. The room is large enough to fit twin sized beds, a medium couch-etc. I will say, the space will be “cozy” but I wouldn’t say cramped (the space is 550 square feet approximately.) As long as you keep that in mind things will be fine, but all I ask for is that you be clean, clean up after yourself, be respectful and courteous during night hours or studying etc. I plan on putting up sound dampening room dividers for privacy as well. That being said, you’re allowed guests, but obviously inform me when you want people over, and don’t let them in my space-etc. There is a laundry unit in the building but not the apartment itself. Large fridge, stovetop and oven-there’s enough space in part of the kitchen to fit a small bed if you’d prefer that, but I wanted to fit a little dining table there-but I need a roommate more then I need a table lol. (I can also give you, your own space in the closet and/or your own cabinets for storage, and if you have a bike, people keep it at the bottom stairwell. That’s where I keep mine)

I can cook for you if you want, I like cooking as a hobby and often will cook for myself to save money over buying pre-cooked meals. I like photography, graphic design, illustration, animation, vinyl, sewing, arts and crafts, watching YouTube and Netflix, biking, skateboarding etc. I like trying out new hobbies as well. I like exercising but I’m a huge foodie and will try any/most food at least once. You will not catch me eating bugs or ofal tho, unless it’s chopped liver or beef tongue which I think are the two exceptions. I try to be as open-minded and forgiving as I can, but I only have so much patience, especially since moving to Chicago and having my fair share of bad experiences. I’m a trans woman, and I will not tolerate any transphobia. I have room to agree to disagree so there’s that, but generally I’d prefer we get along at least decently if we’re gonna be living together. I have PTSD as well, so I guess don’t shout too much I guess? -I haven’t had any complaints about my neighbors yet so they’re fine I guess. Anyways, contact me if it seems interesting! Obviously keep in mind it’s a studio so-cozy, but I wouldn’t say cramped unless you wanted to bring in a bunch of big furniture on top of my own-I haven’t decorated yet and don’t really have furniture in there right now so if you have anything, just ask me if it’s okay to bring, and I can help you move it in!
