Osmanee's room

This is a short 4th floor walk up in the Washington Heights neighborhood. The whole apartment is 700sq ft, 3 bedrooms/1 bath and the room available is 11’7“x 9’11“ with two windows, a fire escape and a small closet. The apartment is small but comfortable and has a washer and dryer in the unit. The apartment faces the back alley so is pretty quiet while also being situated in a lively area just a 7minute walk to the 1, A and C trains. Your room would be a lease takeover so you would have to have the proper paper work showing 40x rent and good credit to be approved. We don’t pay for water but have to cover wi-fi, electricity, and gas.

We’re looking for someone who’s a clean freak! and happy to participate in a weekly cleaning schedule while also being familiar with living in small shared spaces. This apartment is ideally for someone who doesn’t have too much stuff and feels comfortable sharing household items like cleaning supplies and kitchen appliances. Living in a rented apartment and making it feel like home can take a lot of work whether that be contacting the landlord about any issues or contributing to our toilet paper stock, so we think the space would be best fit for someone who is happy to do those things and wants the apartment to feel like home rather than just a room.

I’m Osmanee. I moved to NYC permanently after completing my bachelor’s degree in the city and am in my early 20s. Mackenzie, also in her early 20s is a grad student while also working from home some days. We look forward to meeting you!
