Available Nov1st 2022 Seeking one roommate for a large four-bedroom home in a quiet West Haven neighborhood. We are looking for a mature, quiet, responsible, clean, and professional adult. The house has three levels with the bottom level available. You will have your own private bathroom, living area, closet. You choose if you want to invite us down to watch tv or any other reason. There is also a sliding glass door that leads to the deck and the backyard. We all maintain together, but do not make much use of the outdoor space. The main level is open concept containing the kitchen, main living area, and large windows that bring plenty of natural lighting. Currently, there are two cats in the house. They are indoor only and will occasionally wander to the lower level to say hello. So obviously if you don’t like cats, or animals in general, that will be a problem. If you have a cat allergy that will also be an issue. One of us has an allergy to dogs and rodents, but another cat would be fine. However, there is an additional $50 charge on your rent through the property management company, we also need to consider would the cats that live here get along with your cat. As roommates, we mostly all keep to ourselves and enjoy our alone time. We will occasionally have group meals together, but it is not an expectation for anyone to join. (Before work and after work we do share stories about how good/bad our days were and banter about other things as well. So you may hear us chatting and laughing. We’re all in our late 30’s and 40’s, nonsmokers, employed full time, and do not host parties. We are going on our fourth year being here and do not plan on leaving anytime soon! Rent for the space is $1300 per month plus one fourth of the utilities. We do require a deposit of $600 and a background check. If this sounds like a good opportunity for you, please reach out to us. House guest is something we are ok with on occasion. We respect each other and communicate when family is coming over.
