Hi, my name is Sherrii and my husband, Edgar and I are looking for short term (month to month… but possibly long term) roommates to help with bills. We have a Great historic home available in Camden, DE. Edgar works all day out of house but leaves very early and comes home around 3ish… so he goes to bed relatively early. I am on temporary disability but when I do go back to work I work from home, so I’m home all day. We spend the majority of our time in the master suite and the kitchen, the rest of the house is pretty much empty all of the time and is available for communal use. We are accustomed to having a full house and are very good with communal living (respecting privacy, sharing food, maintaining cleanliness, keeping dishes done, sharing laundry room, etc.) and we are looking for 2 people who have the same respect and responsibility level. We are relatively quiet and mostly keep to ourselves. One room is on the first floor, half bath is open for communal use, full bath is on second floor and will be shared by both renters. Edgar and I have our own bath in master suite. We don’t currently have any fur-babies in the house but I am involved in pet-rescue so animal lovers only apply. There is a very large yard in the front and back of the house and it is surrounded by trees and very quite… country setting in the middle of town best describes the home. All utilities and high speed internet included. Washer and dryer and dishwasher available for communal use. Rooms can be furnished, or we can move our furniture out if you have your own. If you are responsible, respectful, have a steady source of income and love animals we’d like to meet you to see if it’s a good fit.

My husband, Edgar, is 53 years old, works a lot and is a very avid fisher/hunter outdoors loving, Bad-Dad-joke telling, friendly guy. He does majority of housework and is a little uptight about boundaries and cleanliness/organization and privacy. I am 52 year old hippy-dippy, animal fanatic who likes to cook and isn’t a fan of organization or deep cleaning. So we even each other out. We have been happily married for 22 years and have 5 grown/semi-grown children some of whom may occasionally visit… or move back home, which is why we want to do a month to month rental agreement.
