Hi team, looking for a flatmate/roommate to share my living space in South Hermosa Beach. The apartment is 500 sqft in a block of five units and sits off 2nd St, 5 blocks from the beach. There is access to a Trader Joes and Whole Foods within a 3 minute drive or a 10 minute walk. Easy access to nightlife, work-cafes, restaurants and shops at and around Hermosa Pier within a 10 min walk.

The room is 9’4 ft x 10’6 ft and has a closet that spans it’s width. There is a nice window that extends the length of the room and lets heaps of natural light. The place has one shared bathroom with a shower/tub combo and heaps of cabinet space. Laundry is in the building and is shared amongst the 5 units.

I have furnished with everything you need: pans, cutlery, air fryer, kettle, chopping boards and knifes, etc. There is a cozy couch with a tv and your mainstream streaming services to wind down and have a chill one.

I will be away from Feb-April; you will have access to my parking spot and the entire apartment during this time. The following months, May and from then on, parking will be street only. However, there is a public parking lot 3 houses up the road that is typically empty which is a huge bonus. Parking is rarely an issue.

We have an epic shared roof with ocean views, perfect for watching sunsets, relaxing and entertaining.

Rent is $1350/month, but I am looking for someone who is willing to pay extra during the months I am away. You will effectively will live alone for 3-4 months without paying full rent. I will subsidize a part of the rent. I am happy to discuss the numbers further.

Internet is $25/month Electricity is $10/month Gas is $5/month All values are post split. As mentioned above, I will continue to pay rent and utilities while I am away. Deposit/Bond: $1350.00 Available: 1st Feb 2023

I am an engineer in my late 20s, I work in Long Beach and do 1-2 days/week remotely from home. I am an active person, I run regularly and surf up the road whenever the swell is up, sometimes even when it isn’t. I am really tidy and clean, there is no dishwasher so so staying on top of the kitchen is a must. I am looking for a likeminded young professional to share this space with. I prefer someone who works in-office but open to people with similar remote work arrangements.
