Looking to sublet the second room of my 2br apt in Allston. Close to Green T line (B), even closer to bus lines. Short walk to a lively Thurs-Sat nightlife scene, shops, restaurants, bars, and quick access to Storrow Drive and the HWY. 15 min walk across the bridge to Cambridge.

The Apt was renovated the year before I moved in: granite countertops, new microwave, oven/stove, fridge, tile floors, etc. I do like to keep the place tidy, but I’m not a neat freak. It is a walk-down, but has windows in every room and plenty of natural light. Just a few steps to a clean laundry room and private parking lot.

Shared bathroom, kitchen and living room area. Bedroom comes with a tall lamp, dresser/TV stand, and corner desk. (Flexible if you want to bring your own furniture.) Lease term is also flexible, I will ask you to commit for a minimum of 6 months as this process is not my favorite thing in the world to do.

$1350/mo will cover all utilities (Heat, Electricity, Water, Gas, EXCEPT INTERNET which is set up and paid for by myself).

About me: I’m a 26 year old post-grad, working in the professional world of Information Technology. I’m respectful, responsible, friendly, and am used to sharing living spaces courteously. I enjoy camping (I frequent trips to NH and ME), hiking, skiing, One Wheeling (bonus if you also One Wheel or bike and like to explore the city!), boating, soccer, basketball, and traveling. My previous roomate and I play in a local BSSC Co-Ed soccer league, (definitely let me know if you’ve got skills). I also like to lay low and watch a good TV series/movie, and have recently been getting into a couple video games. My weekends are usually either pretty “lowkey” here in Boston, or I’m off somewhere exploring/visiting home (Maine). I occasionally have my brother and/or a friend or two down to visit from my hometown in Maine to visit.

Over the past 5 years, of the past 7 roommates I have had, I am good friends with 6 of them. We visit each other occasionally and try to plan at least one trip together per year.
