Northeast 20th Avenue

The room is small without a closet. Living, dining, and kitchen spaces are all fully furnished and shared spaces. We’re the upper level of a duplex in NE Minneapolis, so it is both quiet and yet close to things to do! We are a few blocks from Dangerous Man Brewery and can easily get anywhere on public transit by catching the number 11 bus just outside!

There are two of us currently living here - we are both working professionals in our mid 20s. Akanksha (she/her) works in accounting and I (Erin, she/her/they/them) work as a scenic carpenter and stage manager. We are welcoming, open minded, goofy, and respectful people who enjoy spending our limited down time hanging out and watching terrible/strange/crappy netflix shows together while drinking a glass of wine or a beer. We are looking for a roomie who is also open-minded, kind, and willing to socialize with us! We prefer someone who is female or non-binary, but are flexible. Also, I have a cat named Pío who lives in just my room as Akanksha is allergic (and Pío is a scaredy cat), but she does occasionally like to explore other parts of the house, so it is best that you are not super allergic to cats. Both of us go to bed relatively early on weeknights (around 10-10:30pm) and get up around 7-8am. We appreciate a roommate who has a similar sleep schedule or is quiet while we need to be sleeping. Friendship and spending time together is important to us, so we hope to get to know our future roomie well and spend plenty of time together!
