Hi, I’m looking for a long term, single (1 person only) roommate for a shared home in San Leandro, CA. I’d prefer a female close to my age (I’m 29, F) but I’m open to respectful men. Must love dogs ( I have 2 small dogs that mainly stay outdoors), and have no other pets. Sorry, my senior dog is reactive, but a sweetheart to humans.

Available on Sept. 19, 2022 for a deposit fee of $1,000.

The private room is $1,000 monthly for rent on a month to month basis, utilities are not included. We will split utility bills (PG&E, water, internet, trash/rec) whenever it is due. Our utility bills will depend upon usage, and could estimate to be more or less around $100. You will have to be ok with your name not being on the lease.

The private room will be empty upon your move in date. The room can fit a full-queen sized bed, a dresser/desk, and has a spacious closet!

The building is a small, older duplex with 2 floors. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms along with 1 bathroom that we will be sharing. Downstairs is the communal living room, kitchen, with a washer/dryer unit included for your use. I don’t mind sharing my appliances and my things. There’s also a backyard, bonus points if you love gardening! I’m 420 friendly and smoking is only allowed outside.

Very convenient location! We are about a block away from Bayfair Bart station (5-10 min walk). So it’s great for any commuters. We are also very close to many main freeway entrances and stores like Target, Walmart, etc.

I will be the only other person in the home. I’m 29, female, and Filipina. I work at an animal shelter in Oakland full time, Wed-Sun @ 8:30am - 5pm. I like to keep a clean, chill home. The type of space where I can kickback, walk around barefoot, and just relax at the end of the day. I love animals, singing, dancing, going to concerts/live shows, exploring mama nature, and creating art. I have 2 small dogs, Ziggy and Mac Daddy. I’m 420 & LGBTQIA+ friendly!

I’m pretty chill overall. I usually keep to myself and go out to socialize, but I’m always down to talk or hang out if you want company. I don’t mind if you have guests or overnight guests as long as you’re mindful of my work schedule. I’ll be sure to accommodate yours as well! I occasionally (every now and then, not frequently) like to have my friends over for food and drinks, you’re always welcome to join and invite friends of your own!

I’d really like to be able to coexist as roommates and maintain an overall sense of peace and understanding. As long as communication is clear and boundaries are maintained and respected, then we’ll get along just fine!
