Lower Park Road

I love my apartment in Baldwin Park. In my opinion its the best neighborhood in Orlando. 10 minutes from downtown Winter Park, 15 minutes from downtown Orlando, 20 minutes from the airport. If you haven’t been to downtown Baldwin Park it’s a really nice area, with some great restaurants, a CVS, Publics, and most other things you’ll need. Target is 5 minutes away and 3 of my favorite Sushi spots are within a few miles. The apartment has the perfect size kitchen and living room for 2 roommates. We each have our own bathroom and large walk-in closet. Plenty of storage space, an in-unit washer/dryer, and a good size balcony. The balcony and the large windows in both our bedrooms overlook the park and we can see Lake Baldwin from the balcony as well. The apartment has off-street parking, a mediocre gym, but a really nice pool. The rent, utilities, and internet are all in my name and your portion will be about $1275 per month. I pay for everything and you’ll pay me on the 1st. My current roommate is moving back home to TX sometime in Sept but Oct 1 is our current target for a move-in date. I’m ideally looking for a full-year commitment, not a short-term rental. You will be taking over the lease from my current roommate but you’ll have to go through the same background check as most apartments, then you and I will resign our lease in January.

I’m in my mid 30s, I grew up in NY and moved to Orlando 4 years ago. I’m into sports, netflix, music and chess. I work a lot and I travel for work a decent amount as well. I go out sometimes and I like to host a game night once in a while, but I’m not a huge partier and I’m looking for someone that keeps similar hours. I would love to have similar interests with my roommate but we also dont have to be best friends, I just want someone kind and considerate who will keep the common areas clean and respect normal sleeping hours. Guests are fine at times if not excessive. I would prefer someone in the 25 to 40yo range, who doesn’t work from home and is socially liberal. No couples, kids, cats, or cigarettes.
