1 small bedroom in 2-bedroom condo in a garden-level (basement) apartment. Can supply a desk, chair, TV, and full-sized (or queen-sized) bedframe if needed (no mattress). Room contains a triple wardrobe with drawers and plenty of hanging space.

Shared living room, kitchen, bath.

Apartment building is in an Historic District, and is not wheelchair accessible.

Located directly on the 67 bus route to Alewife on the red line. Seriously, the bus stops right at the end of the neighbor’s driveway.

Seven-minute walk to Mass Ave and 77 bus to Harvard Square, the 95 bus to Sullivan Square in Charlestown, and the 350 bus goes near the Burlington Mall. Seven-minute walk the other way to Route 2 and the 62 bus to the Bedford VA. Check MBTA.com to see those bus schedules.

Condo is minutes from the Minuteman Rail Trail for cyclists, and building has secure, indoor bike rack for storage.

A dedicated off-street parking space is also available for additional $50 per month.

Coin Op Laundry in building; all utilities (water, gas, electric, and internet) included. I do not have a landline or cable TV, but there is a Roku in the shared living room.

Absolutely no Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco, or Cannabis allowed. These are NOT negotiable; NO SMOKERS and NO VAPERS please. I am NOT “cannabis-friendly.” Open to people in a 12-step program.

There is a half-bath in the common area, outside of the apartment.

Fully-stocked kitchen if you like to cook. Kitchen has a dishwasher, air fryer, pots, pans, dishes and silverware, and there is dedicated cabinet and drawer space for your food, etc. Must keep common areas clean.

Restaurants and shops minutes away.

Nearby Farmers’ Market Wed. 2-6 PM (I think)

I’m an older guy with juvenile diabetes. I’m not religious, and I typically do not discuss politics. I am very supportive of LGBQT+ people, and you need to be as well.

Happy to make myself scarce if you have company. Your relationships are your business, however the room is only big enough for one person for living purposes.

Privacy respected and expected; I will NEVER open your bedroom door unless there’s an emergency. Going into my room is grounds for terminating a rental agreement (written or verbal).

Rent is payable and expected on the 1st of the month with a second month held as a security deposit.

There is another roommate: He’s a 5 year old cat, and he’s very timid. He does not ever leave the apartment, and he does not want other pets of any kind in his home.

I have had a few roommates, and some were not great. Please don’t be ‘not great.’

I work in town (days). I’m fully Covid vaccinated. I think Batman is cooler than Spiderman, and like most of my neighbors.
