East 4th Street

Private room in a two bedroom one bath apartment in a great location. There are a lot of restaurants and things to do right when you step out of the front door (10 minute walk to the grocery store as well which is convenient). There is laminate wood floor throughout and the apartment has just been repainted. The room is approximately 10.75 ft by 9 with a decent size closet and storage above. It is on the second floor of a gated medium sized apartment complex. There is laundry on-site that is pretty decently priced and you can even pay with your phone incase you don’t have millions of quarters lying around. Unfortunately it is just street parking, but I haven’t found it to be horrific and the apartment is so close to a lot of things that it is easy to walk or ride a bike most of the time.

About you: Relaxed, responsible, and respectful. I am not a neat freak, but would like someone who is able to clean up after themselves within a reasonable time frame becasue I like to keep the apartment nice. Obviously, you need to be able to pay rent and bills on time. You are more than welcome to have friends/ your partner visit or stay over, as long as it is not a third roommate forever. Ideally you don’t have a ton of furniture or stuff.

About me: I work from home as a freelance graphic designer right now. In my free time I generally like to relax at home, watch movies, go out to dinner with friends, hang out with my dog, work on little projects, etc. I like to go out and am social, but I definitely am not bringing/ having crazy parties at the house. I’m also pretty independent so we do not have to be great friends, but it would be nice if it ended up that way or we liked hanging out every once in a while. Definitely open to a wide spectrum, just as long as we don’t dislike each other. I have a large dog, so unfortunately we can’t have anymore pets. My dog is EXTREMELY mellow, friendly and affectionate. She does shed (I am good about vacuuming), so if you are allergic to dogs or don’t like them we can’t live together.

Financial stuff: The rent is $750 a month + electricity (apartment is all electric) and internet.The rental company requires you to fill out a rental application which will be $40. You must have a verifiable source of income, make 3x the rent and pass a credit check. Month to month lease. There is also a security deposit of $750. Move in August 1.
