22 years old, looking to rent a room while the house is being renovated Rent is so low to compensate for the inconvenience of living in a house while it’s being painted, trimmed, and other cosmetics. Lease is monthly until work is done. I don’t want anyone to feel trapped in a lease! In about 3 months when the renovation is done, the rent will increase to market value (current market value is 5-6 hundred dollars monthly) At which point you’ll have the option to sign a longer lease and move to a newly remodeled room, or keep yours at a higher price.
