Oak Avenue

Looking for roommates in the McHenry area. The house is two stories (three if you count the unfinished basment). The first floor consists of the kitchen, dining room, living room, screened-in porch, two bedrooms, and one bathroom. My own bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor, so that is where I stay most of the time.

Laundry: washer and dryer are in the basement.

Basement: there is an unfinished basement. There is a freezer for extra food storage. There is also a desk/office area I don’t use, so you can feel free to claim it as your own if you want it. Otherwise the basement is also a great place for storage.

Bathroom: It is a full bathroom, with a linen closest as well as a hall closet for extra storage. It has a shower and a bathtub. It’s called a tea-for-two bathtub, which basically just means it’s about twice as deep as a normal bathtub. Pretty nice if you like baths, but if not there’s still the shower there, too.

Bedroom: bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished, depending on which you’d prefer, minus the mattresses.

Living room: the living room already has some furniture in it, like a couch and some coffee tables. There is room definitely room for more if you have things you’d like to bring in.

Dining room: already furnished but we can also switch things out if you have furniture you’d like to put in there instead.

Kitchen: has a dishwasher, gas stove, and all the other appliances.

Location: within walking distance of schools! Only a few blocks from the elementary school.

I live in the second floor and keep mostly to myself. Another girl named Hannah will be renting the other room on the first floor. She is very nice.
