About the room

The room has a nice separation of space that would work great if you need a desk setup but want some separation from your sleeping area. Basement room stays cool through the summer and two windows let in the outdoors. Good sized closet.

The house is a duplex, with 6 men living in the top apartment and 7 women living in the bottom apartment (you will be the 7th). We also have one other room open starting September 1 and one open starting October 1.

We are in the quiet family neighborhood of Portage Bay up the hill from Eastlake. It has plentiful free street parking, a beautiful area to take a walk in, cute coffee shops nearby, proximity to multiple bus lines, and easy access to quickly get to other areas of Seattle.

Your rent will be $742.20 before utilities. Utilities average to about $70 per month per person, depending on the time of the year. We also split the cost of commonly used household products.

About the roomies

We are seeking a lady to join our community! We are a group of women who love Jesus and take part in cultivating a genuine, Christ-filled community with one another. If that is something that interests you, we would love for you to consider being an addition to our home.

All of us are Christians who attend different churches throughout Seattle, and this house has a long-standing history of being a space specifically for young adults to find a place where they can live in community with other believers. We all come from different walks of life and cherish being able to learn, laugh, and grow with one another. As a house, we try to regularly connect with one another to build relationships and just to let loose and have fun.

Throughout COVID we have been in constant conversations around house policies to best fit living needs and respect one another. These conversations will continue to happen as a house as current COVID guidelines change.

It is an open and welcoming space where people love having conversations and being around each other, and yet are also great at giving folks space to just chill and relax.
