About the room
The room available is part of a spacious multilevel condo-style apartment in downtown New Haven! Yale is all around, and the apartment is just a few minutes walk from the green. Common areas will include a large, ground level living room, kitchen (includes a dishwashwer), and bathroom, with a basement room that will act as an office/work space. The available bedroom is also in the basement. For now it is unfurnished, but I have some bedroom furniture in storage that could be used if need be. Property has central air and a washer/dryer. Property comes with one off street parking spot. I’m using it for now, but would be happy to work out an equitable way of sharing if you have a car. To be clear, I do not own the property, but the landlord is aware and okay with the property being split between two tenants. However, you will have to undergo a credit check.
About the roomies
I just moved to New Haven from further along the CT coastline. I’m a very young (mid twenties) attorney working at the CT Office of Attorney General in their environmental enforcement division. (Meaning I help sue polluters!) I usually commute to Hartford about three days per week and work remotely the rest of the time. I’m pretty easy going and I like to keep things fairly clean–but I’m not OCD about it! I’m pretty active, I love art, particularly music and books. Finally, I do have a dog living with me. She’s a seven year old German Shepherd named Athena. She’s big but very gentle!
