About the room
We are the owners of a large old home and are offering a furnished two-room suite with private bath. The living and bedroom areas are bright and sunny, with ample closet space.
This rental offering accommodates one person only. It includes the use of a large renovated country kitchen with extra refrigerator and separate butler’s pantry and a coin-op laundry in the basement.
It is a very desirable neighborhood, convenient to public transportation, just steps from the UNE Portland campus.
The rent is $1,100/month includes all utilities: heat, hot water, gas, electricity and free WiFi. This is a smoke free house and you must be a non-smoker. Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate pets.
A one-month security deposit, first month’s rent and one-year lease are required. Please be able to show proof of employment and provide recent references.
About the roomies
My husband and I live in the house and have owned the house for many years. We are retired, actively maintain this wonderful old building, and spend our time enjoying all the City of Portland and Maine has to offer.
