Room for one adult in 3bd/2ba house opening soon (August - potentially September). $575, plus utilities. Full kitchen access. Washer and dryer available. Less than 10-minute walk to market and bus stops. Ample parking, if needed, and there is a yard available for gardening projects. The neighborhood is fairly mellow and within walking distance to the Arcata Community Forest.

Looking for individuals that are neat, quiet, and able to uphold general house rules. Must be respectful of others’ personal belongings and space. Ideally, long-term (year lease but flexible) and communicative, with no roaming animals. (So likely no kitties or doggos, sorry.) Students preferred but an exception can be made for a working person, if the fit is right. At the moment, we are currently considering females only to balance the household dynamic, but are open to respectful male candidates. It is important for us to provide a space that facilitates open and equitable dialogue.

You’d be sharing the space with two students (CR and Humboldt) and a full-time engineer. We’re fairly quiet but like to spend time together when we have a bit of free time to spare. Household chores and utilities are divvied up evenly, and cleaning up after oneself is a big must. Guests are fine so long as they are respectful of shared areas and house vibe. Overnight may be limited, though; just keep us in the know.
