Hey! We’re looking for a roommate! The place: an awesome 2-br, 1.5-bath townhouse in Chapel Hill off of Fordham Blvd. 18 mins to downtown Durham, 10 minute drive to UNC campus, 2 minute walk to G route stop, 5 minute walk to a CL stop, ample parking right outside the house. Walking distance (via a beautiful trail) to Eastgate shopping plaza that has Starbucks, Trader Joes, Aldi, and many more awesome places. The house has shared common areas, shared upstairs bathroom, and backyard. The bedroom is medium sized with a big window and two closets. The shared bathroom is between both bedrooms on the second floor.I have a cat so cats are welcome, a dog will probably also be fine. $700/month, utilities + internet included. Lease length is flexible but prefer to lease until June. Looking for someone to move in by September 1st but can be flexible if need be. Looking for: a direct communicator, making the home a welcoming place for all the communities, and someone to hang out with if that’s something we are both down for! Us: Mack (they/them), queer white non-bonary person, currently in an online grad program for clinical mental health counseling that I am working an internship for. I am also a nanny for a family in Durham. With my schedule I will most likely be working my job or internship outside of the house from 8 or 9am - 5 or 6pm. My weekends are mostly free and I like to go out and do things during that time. Likes: video games, D&D, cringey emo music, skateboarding, coffee, and to go to local breweries . Cyrus (he/they), small black cat (around 1 year old). Very energetic and could definitely use a friend to run around with. Very cute but also a menace, unhinged at all times but very lovable. I am social(ish), pretty clean, like to host game nights but also appreciate solo time, very Covid-conscious (wear masks indoors in public and fully vaxxed).
