Rachel's room

It’s a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house in Huntington (walking distance to the village) with two roommates. One is moving out at the end August.

Rent is almost $3000 split evenly ($993.35 each) between the three of us plus utilities (usually $175-200 a month each). Utilities include oil, gas, electric, and internet. Rent is in a month to month basis (but long term—1 year min. is preferred).

This covers an upstairs bedroom, shared bathroom with other upstairs roommate, a smaller room suitable for office/studio use and a very large unfinished storage room connected to this room, and some garage use. There is shared street parking in front of the house. Kitchen and living room are also shared spaces. Washer and dryer are installed in kitchen. Yard is taken care of by landlord and there is usually a maintenance worker on site, if not he can usually be there same day of call.

I am also planning on moving to the bedroom downstairs when the second roommate moves out.

Preferred applicants are professional females in their mid- twenties to thirties. This is not a party house. Move in date late August/ early September.

Hi there, my name is Rachel; a little about me, I’m 31, a teacher, I love movies, reading, being outdoors, concerts, and finding great places to eat. I do like to keep common areas clean, and I usually keep any messiness to my own room. I love dogs, and am allergic to cats. The second roommate is a vet, and she has a night schedule. Everyone is friendly but each tend to keep to their own schedule.
