One bedroom with private bathroom available in 2b/2b in the Potomac Yard neighborhood of Alexandria.

Del Ray and Old Town are a short drive (or walk) away. There is a Giant in the building and Target, shopping, and restaurants next door. It is also close to a bike trail and several playgrounds and parks. The new Potomac metro station is a couple blocks away (can literally see it from the living room) and the DASH and Metro bus stop a block away.

The apartment has Fios internet. In unit washer/dryer. Can come furnished with a full size bed for an additional $25/month.

I keep the temperature around 67 degrees unless it’s snowing outside in the winter and I will keep it around 72 degrees in the summer unless it is boiling outside (so parts of July/August). I think dishes in the sink for a few days is just part of living a life (so long as nothing is growing on them) so do not apply if no dishes in the sink is a “personal boundary.” I ask that you respect my stuff and I will respect yours.

I work odd sometimes long hours. On weekends I am usually out for the day at the farmers market, on hikes, or working my way through a museum. I enjoy cooking and cleaning on Sundays. I keep the apartment as clean as I can, but it is not sparkling. I am not looking for a new bff, just someone who needs a room in this crazy expensive area and pays their bills on time. If you need daily socializing from the person you live with, please look elsewhere.
